We are a 1-year program that focuses on troubled men and women who have lost their sense of themselves in alcohol and other substance abuse.

We encourage Spiritual healing and growth through working a 12-Step program. This program helps them to realize their worth—that they are able-bodied men who can obtain gainful employment, learn to be self-sufficient, and find their way home to their families as productive members of society.

Some are sent to The Step House by Judges and Probation Officers, as an alternative to serving time in overcrowded jails and prisons.

Others come to The Step House on a purely volunteer basis.

Either way, they are all treated as equals and all are given the opportunity to make a positive change in their lives while under tight supervision, random drug testing, and a strictly enforced set of house rules.
